NASHVILLE, Tenn.–A former corrections officer has been indicted for allegedly having sexual contact with an inmate. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Christopher Glenn Springer called a female inmate out of her cell and “engaged in sexual contact with her.” The inmate reported the incident and the TBI launched an investigation. Springer, 26, is charged with Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure and was jailed last night before bonding out.
