NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WRIC) – Kroger is testing a new online ordering service.

Shoppers can logon to Kroger’s website, place an order for groceries and choose a time slot to pick up their groceries. Employees walk the aisles, pick the products and then takes them to customers’ cars. (You don’t even have to move from your seat!)

It will cost you though — an added $4.95 will be charged for the order.

Orders can also be scheduled for future days and times, too, for those in a hurry.

Only a limited number of Kroger stores are testing the program. It started in late 2014 in Kroger’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio and grew to include a Kentucky store as well. The program is currently being rolled out in Indianapolis, Indiana. The service is expected to expand to other cities in the future, though there’s been no timetable set for when that will happen.
