NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new exhibit at the Military Branch Exam in Nashville will honor those who fought and died in World War I.
The exhibit opened Sunday as a part of the Symposium Commemorating Tennesseans in the Great War.
The great-granddaughter of Tennessee hero Alvin York was at the exhibit Saturday morning.
York is honored in the exhibit as a decorated World War I hero from Pall Mall, Tennessee.
The exhibition is free and will be open until June 11.
