LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A local mayor has some questionable calls on his city-supplied cell phone bill.
News 2’s Joseph Pleasant started looking through the records of La Vergne Mayor Dennis Waldron’s city phone.
On the list of phone calls are numbers linked to online ads for escort services.
News 2 took the records straight to the mayor to see what he had to say.
“When we checked those numbers, they come back to some ads that hit for escort ads. Did you call these numbers?”
The mayor responded, “You know, it was a city phone issued to me.”
