Police hope to find car with custom paint job in downtown robbery-media-2NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are working to identify the man who robbed two women in downtown Nashville in late July.They released surveillance photos of the suspect’s vehicle, which has a distinctive paint job, from the July 25 robbery.

The victims were walking down Fifth Avenue North near Union Street just before 4 a.m. when they were robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect is a white man who wore a white long-sleeved T-shirt and a white surgical mask.

He’s believed to have fled in a GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet Blazer with a custom color design. The front is silver and fades to purple with a checkered black pattern.

Anyone who recognizes the car or who has information regarding this armed robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
