Driver wanted for leaving Williamson County accident

THOMPSON’S STATION, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find a driver who left the scene of an accident on Sunday.

The accident happened a 3:30 p.m. in Thompson’s Station at Buckner Road and Thompson’s Station Road East.

Witnesses reported a man driving a black van or SUV attempted to turn onto Buckner and cut off a motorcyclist coming from the other direction.

The motorcyclist reportedly swerved, slid off the road and was injured.

Police said witnesses reported the driver got out of his vehicle and went over to the motorcycle, then left the scene.

He is described as a tall, thin, white male with black wavy hair. He was wearing jeans and a blue bubble vest. A white female passenger was with him.
