NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police have identified a suspect in the death of an 18-year-old who was killed in a drive by shooting Tuesday night.
Mohamed Almahmmody, 23, is wanted in connection to the death of 18-year-old Kenny Hatcher, who was found on Honeysuckle Road off Vine Hill Road and near near the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.
Police told News 2 a group of people were gathered outside a home on the corner when a black Infiniti sedan drove up.
According to police, someone in the car called out to the group and opened fire from inside.
Only Hatcher was struck. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died.
Police ask anyone with information about Almahmmody’s whearabouts to call 615-742-7463.
