NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Make sure you watch News 2 tonight to cheer on Miss Tennessee as she competes in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City.
Hannah Robison took the crown for Miss Tennessee in 2015 after three years of hard work.
News 2 spoke with her back in July and found out she’s studying chemistry at UT Martin and hopes to get her PHD in Organic Chemistry and become a teacher.
“Something I really want to focus on as my year of Miss TN would be STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education. It’s something I feel is very important today. I feel like our youth are growing up in a time where our future jobs haven’t even been discovered,” she explained.
The pageant airs on News 2 at 8 p.m. Sunday.
