CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WKRN) – The first church services began Sunday morning in the wake of the deadly Chattanooga attacks.

Abba’s house, also known as Central Baptist Church, in Hixson, Tennessee, which is the neighborhood where shooter Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was raised.

Abba's House programNews 2 spoke with the pastor Ron Phillips who said his sermon will be focused on the Chattanooga tragedy.

The church bulletin for Sunday’s service said “Hope for America #noogastrong.”

Abba’s House is one of the largest churches in Chattanooga with 4000 congregants.

They had a Chattanooga police officer outside to provide security for the church.

The community foundation of Chattanooga has set up a fund to support the families of the victims.
