The Tennessee Great War Commission will be holding events related to the state’s involvement in the war, including the role of soldiers from the state and what life was like in Tennessee during the time of the international conflict.

The first events are scheduled to be held at three venues in Nashville on Nov. 7. The venues are the Bicentennial Mall and Amphitheatre, the Tennessee State Museum Military Branch and the Tennessee State Museum Auditorium.

Memorial events will be held each November through 2019. All events are free and open to the public.
