Haslam: State offering $15K for info on fatal shooting of Clarksville toddler

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) –

Gov. Bill Haslam has announced the state is offering a $15,000 reward for information in the shooting death of a Clarksville toddler.

According to police, 2-year-old Joseph Bankston was at home on Princeton Drive with several family members when the shooting happened on Oct. 4.

Joseph was shot in the head and killed. His mother’s boyfriend, 22-year-old Brandon Jimenez, was also shot. Jimenez, who was stationed at Fort Campbell, remains in critical condition.

The $15,000 reward is for information leading to the capture, arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the shooting.
