MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man is now wanted by police after running away from a bank he robbed.
Police responded to Red Stone Federal Credit Union at 2943 South Rutherford Boulevard just after 12 p.m. today.
A bank teller reportedly complied to the suspect’s demands for money.
Police described the suspect as a black male wearing a white button-up shirt with blue jeans and a brown baseball cap.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-893-7867.
A second robbery was reported in Murfreesboro just two hours later at First Tennessee Bank at 305 West Northfield Boulevard. The suspect was taken into custody moments after. No information about that suspect was released.
Police say the robberies were not connected.
