Search continues for missing 2-year-old boy in Chester County

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) – The search for a 2-year-old boy who wandered away from his grandmother three days ago has been opened to law enforcement statewide.

Noah Chamberlin has been missing since Thursday afternoon while walking in the woods in the Pinson community with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tom Mapes told The Jackson Sun there was no update overnight. Use of civilian volunteers in the search has been temporarily suspended.

Law enforcement from multiple state and local agencies, as well as volunteers from across the mid-South, have been searching around the clock since he was reported missing.

Mapes said “much prayer” is needed for Noah’s safe return.
