Coffee County Honors Fallen Hero Randall Smith

As Chattanooga mourns the five service members who gave their lives last Thursday, their families have made the funeral arrangements to honor their loved ones.

Chattanooga shooting victim, Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Randall Smith was escorted from Nashville, TN to Chattanooga today the 24th July 2015.  A fallen hero traveled through Coffee County TN, passing under exit 114 around 7.35 pm this evening with hundreds of citizens showing their respects and honoring a service member that gave all in a Chattanooga terrorist attack on 16 July.

Smith’s funeral will be held on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church at Fort Oglethorpe in Georgia

where he and his family lived.

He will then be buried at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full honors.

Smith leaves behind a wife and three young daughters.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorial contributions be made to the Capital Bank beneficiary account for Randall Smith at P.O. Box 2146, For Oglethorpe, Georgia, 30742.
