COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two people have been arrested and one is still at large after a Columbia man was shot in the head and stuffed inside the trunk of a car on Sunday.

Around 2:40 Sunday morning Columbia police received a possible home invasion report at 412 East 17th Street. Police found much more when they arrived.

Javontay Garrett, 27, was found in the trunk of a car at the house and was suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

Garrett is in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center according to police.

Two people were arrested in the case. One being 24-year-old Michael Keyon Martin and the other being 28-year-old Kei’Choura Cathey. They were both charged with especially aggravated robbery. Martin is also charged with attempted felony murder and Cathey with conspiracy to commit felony murder.

Police are currently searching for 30-year-old Joey Lasean Scribner for similar charges.
